Hank, Noreen and his kids bought the house next door to me on Date Court in Mt. Sinai.  I moved there in late 1974 and the Klein's moved  in 1975.  That was the beginning of a friendship that lasted over the years, one in which Hank and I considered each other closer than most brother's would be.  We shared our lives together as though no other people existed of greater importance.  Our kids grew up together as best friends and many of those friendships still exist some 50 years later.  As is the case of so many friendships, times changed, our lives changed, and we moved away from this neighborhood that gave us so many lifelong memories.  Unfortunately, I did not see Hank personally for a few years.  Now that he is gone, I am so sad that I was remiss in not keeping in touch.  I will cherish the memories I have regarding the wonderful relationship I had with Hank.  Sadly I realize how much I have lost because of our separation but in hindsight, I will have the rest of my life knowing what a great friend I had for all those years.  May he rest in God's peace.

There will always be a special place in my heart for Hank. He loved his children and grandchildren to the moon and back. My deepest condolences to his family. I know he will be missed.

We were so saddened to hear of Henry’s passing.   Our deepest condolences to his family.    Henry lived next door to me and a few houses down from Joe when we were growing up in Uniondale.    He will be remembered always as a great man.    May his family find peace in the beautiful memories they all share of him.

He was so popular in our Uniondale High School Class of ‘62, and in recent years, kept us smiling and entertained in spite of his declining health .  May his memory bring you peace and comfort in this difficult time in your  lives. We, too, shall miss him!
