James John Gentile, aged 87, of Centereach, New York, passed away on March 26, 2024. Born in Brooklyn, NY, James lived a life marked by love, service, and dedication. He served his country with honor as a member of the US Air Force during the Cold War, embodying a commitment to duty and patriotism.
James will be laid to rest with his beloved wife, Esther, who passed only month before him. He is also survived by his cherished sons, Dr. David Gentile and Brian Gentile, who were the pride and joy of his life, and he took great pride in their accomplishments and the men they became. James was also blessed with adoring grandchildren, Joshua and Christopher, whose laughter and presence brought him immense joy and happiness.
James will be remembered for his strength, integrity, and kindness. He leaves behind a legacy of love and service that will continue to inspire all who knew him. Though he may be gone, his memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones forever.
