Joan S. McDonald of Miller Place, N.Y. passed away on September 19, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert G. McDonald. Loving mother of Dr. Robert J. McDonald and his wife Deborah and Tara McDonald. Cherished grandmother of Shane and Mariele. Devoted sister of Peter Cook and his wife Madeline. Joan is also survived by her loving nieces, Erin Cook DeGregorio and Kristina Cook. Reposing at the O.B. Davis Funeral Home, 1001 Rt. 25A, Miller Place, N.Y. Visitation Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday 10 am. at St. Louis deMontfort R.C. Church, Sound Beach, N.Y. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations to Good Shepherd Hospice, Port Jefferson, N.Y . would be appreciated.
