John Lopez

John was predeceased by his loving wife Joanie and his daughter Terry. He is survived by his daughters Maureen and Maryellen, grandchildren John, Paul, Noah, Emma, Spencer, and Courtney. Also survived by his son-in-law Bob, and his granddaughter-in-law Emily.

John will be remembered for his fierce interest in politics, being a loyal and dependable husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Always quick with a grin, a few words of encouragement, and a smirky joke to lift spirits when needed. John was exceptionally proud of his grandchildren and would brag about them at a moment's notice. An avid reader, John could always be found with a good book close at hand.

An interment with Navy honors for John will be held Monday, May 23, 2022 at 12 PM at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, New York 11933.
