Cavallaro, Josephine, 86, resident of Rocky Point, N.Y. on August 14, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Mario Cavallaro. Devoted mother of Loretta, Linda and Albert. Cherished grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother “GiGi” of 7. After raising her children Jo worked at the Port Jefferson Library for 17 years, spending most of them running the front desk. It was a job she truly loved because of her lifelong love for books. Reposing at the O.B. Davis Funeral Home, 1001 Rt. 25A, Miller Place, N.Y. Visitation Friday August 17th from 11-12 noon. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in Josephine’s name to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, 1111 Stewart Ave., Bethpage N.Y. 11714.
