

Joyce Hoppenstedt, 83, passed away peacefully on January 26, surrounded by love and cherished memories. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Raymond, with whom she shared 25 wonderful years of marriage.
Joyce will be remembered by her family as brave, generous, hardworking, kind-hearted, resilient, and thoughtful. These qualities guided her throughout her life and were evident in the way she cared for those around her.
Joyce dedicated many years of service as a Supervisor at the Internal Revenue Service, where she was respected for her commitment and strong work ethic. Outside of work, she found joy in gardening and spending time outdoors, often nurturing both her plants and the people she loved.
Above all else, Joyce treasured her family. She especially loved being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Seeing her grandchildren always made her light up, and her great-grandchildren never failed to bring a smile to her face.
Joyce is lovingly survived by her daughters, Lynn Venezia and her husband Joe, and Karen Kraft and her husband Kurt; her sister, Dorothy Perillo, and brother-in-law, Andy; her cherished grandchildren, Taylor Kraft, Alyssa Mellina, Austin Kraft, and Joe Venezia; and her adored great-grandchildren, Daphne, Troy, Serafina, Gemma, and Violet.
Joyce’s legacy of love, strength, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
