Kevin James Petty

Kevin leaves behind his soul mate, Kaylee McGinnis; his father, James W. Petty, and stepmother, Janet Petty; his sisters, Shannon Walker, Tara Powers, and Melissa Frazer; brothers in law, Buddy Walker, Timothy Powers, and Chad Frazer, and many beloved nieces and nephews, including Gunner Walker, Sarah Walker, Eamon Powers, Sidney Powers, and Stella Frazer.

He is also survived by his grandfather, Kenneth Lokkeberg, his aunts and uncles, Jean Foley, Norman Foley, Andrew Lokkeberg, Joanne Lokkeberg, Mary Meagher, Jack Meagher and Arne Lokkeberg; as well as numerous cousins, including Gwen Foley, Jennifer Hoffman, Christie Anderson, Robbie Schoemmell, Kelly Cox, Victoria Piercy, John Meagher, Kimberly Swiciki, and Lena Hallock.

Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Stella Petty; his uncles, Christopher Anderson, Robert Schoemmell, Phillip Lokkeberg, and Michael Lokkeberg; his aunts, Judith Schoemmell and Silvana Lokkeberg; and his nephew, Isaac Powers.

Kevin worked as a chef and brought creativity and passion to his profession. Outside of work, he enjoyed playing and watching baseball and football, playing cards, and collecting sports memorabilia. During his high school years, he was also a wrestler.

Those who knew Kevin best remember him as adventurous, beloved, humorous, and resilient. His laughter, strength, and love for family and friends will never be forgotten.

Though his time here was far too short, Kevin’s memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved him.
