Kristine M. Jochen

Kristine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, whose kindness and creativity touched everyone she met. Predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Ruti, Kristine leaves behind her cherished children: Glenn Jochen (Kathleen), Noreen Hamlin (Kevin), Heidi Jochen, and Timothy Jochen. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Jason Hamlin, Keith Hamlin, Mark Hamlin, Annelise Thompson, Kristina Balzarano, Patrick Fucci, Nicholas Fucci, Harley Hoffman, and Hemi Hoffman, and a great-grandmother to Delaney Thompson, Crew Thompson, Isla Balzarano, and Kingston Thompson.

Kristine is also survived by her brother, Terje Pedersen who resides in Norway, and her many nieces and nephews: Wenche, Inger, Mariann, Astri, Turid, Trond, Oystein, Kjetil, Guro, Michael, and David. She was predeceased by her siblings Alf Pedersen, Gunvor Remme, and Kjell Pedersen, as well as her niece Patricia. Her extended family, including many loving cousins, will remember her fondly.

Kristine dedicated her professional life as a skilled and admired bank manager, but her passions extended far beyond her career. She was an exceptionally talented artist, expressing herself through knitting, crochet, porcelain art, and canvas painting. She also found joy in gardening and lent her beautiful voice to the Grace Lutheran Church choir. A dedicated member of her faith community, Kristine taught Sunday school, participated in Bible Study, and was an active member of the Ladies Guild.

Kristine’s grace, compassion, and creativity will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who were fortunate to know her.
