Lorraine J. Dorio

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Lorraine J. Dorio, age 68, of Sound Beach, New York, on Monday, February 3, 2025. Lorraine was a beloved wife, mother, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.

Lorraine shared 40 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted late husband, Joseph Dorio, who preceded her in death. Together, they built a life full of love and cherished memories. Lorraine worked at Brian's Aquarium and Pets in Rocky Point, NY, where she found great joy in caring for animals, a passion she carried throughout her life. She also adored spending time at the beach, where she found peace and serenity.

Throughout her life, Lorraine had a deep love and admiration for her boss and his family. Their bond spanned decades, and they were an integral part of her and her family's life. Lorraine's kindness, work ethic, and loyalty touched the hearts of many. She was known not only for her professionalism but also for the warmth and care she showed to her coworkers and customers alike. Her presence in the workplace will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Lorraine's generosity of spirit, unwavering support, and infectious smile brightened the lives of her colleagues and clients. She leaves behind a legacy of dedication and compassion that will not be forgotten.

Lorraine leaves behind her loving daughter, Nicole Dorio; mother, Lorraine Kramer; niece, Michelle and her husband, Brenden; great nephew, Johnny; nephew, James; sister, Lynn Kramer, first cousins, Christine and Kenneth; brother-in-law, Tom Satriano; and extended children, Lena and Tracey. Her presence will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Kramer, and her sister, Leigh Satriano.

A memorial visitation to celebrate Lorraine and Joseph's life will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, NY 11764.
