I started dating Pete in August of 1992. Christmas  Eve of 92 I was invited to  Grandma and Grandpa's. I was so welcomed into the family by both of them. How could you not love homemade pizza, chicken  cutlets, fried shrimp and all of the other goodies. I always thought that Grandpa cooking was so great cause  no men in my family ever cooked. I  will  always hold great memories of  grandpa,  and thank him for his service to  this country.  R.I.P. with grandma in heaven.

I am proud to remeber you as a man who spent your whole life serving this country both in wartime as a combat veteran of WWII and in peace as an employee of the US postal service. I was alway proud when I would come over and see your medals hanging on the wall and I still tell people all the time I wish I could be half as tough as my Grandfather. I think of you everytime I cook for holidays and birthdays and I always ask myself how did Grandma and Grandpa do this to make it so good. No matter how many times I watched you both I could never figure it out. I am sad because you were not able to see me, Laura, Kayla, and Kyle in the last year and we couldn't say goodbye  but I am happy you were able to know that your name will live on for another generation with your great grandson Kyle. I hope you found Grandma and are both in peace. I will miss you

Thinking about all of Papa Gigi’s family and sending you all my love! He was a sweet man who was loved so much by his family. He was lucky to be surrounded by people who looked up to and admired him always. Rest In Peace.

Daddy, I am so heartbroken that the last 9 months of your life were taken from you and about us not being able to be with you during this crazy time.  I wish we had more time together.  I am grateful that you had faith because I know that is what got you through.  The thought of going 'home' to be with Mommy was your goal.   After 69 1/2 years of marriage, you belong together.  I hope you danced when you reunited. You were the best father, role model, husband, grandpa, great-grandpa there ever was.  You loved us all, unconditionally.  Your time living with me allowed me the opportunity to get to know you all over again and  I will be forever grateful.  You had a sense of humor...who knew? ?  You were appreciative, kind and loving.  I wish I could tell you 'I Love You' one more time to your face and not over the phone.  I am so proud to be a Daddy's Girl. My favorite memories are of poppop standing at the stove on Christmas Eve cooking with mommom. Being at their house is something I miss all the time . I wish Emma had more time with her great grandpa but I know that he is up in heaven with mommom where he has wanted to be since we lost her. We love you so much poppop Gigi

Poppop... we will miss you so so much! You were one of the strongest men I know and me and vinny and the kids all look up to you for so many reasons. We will forever miss our visits to you when you would whip up a delicious snack and send us home with a goody bag.  And our more recent visits when we would bring you treats you like.   It made the kids so happy to come see you and bring you the things you loved.  I know that you are with Mommom now and you are so happy to be with her. We love you so much and can’t believe you are gone... but you will forever be in our hearts.  Rest In Peace we love you!

I will always have special memories of being at your house with you and mommom, having pancakes in the middle of the day. You were so loved by all of your family. Daddy, Aunt Janine and Uncle Peter were so proud to call you their dad and all of your grandchildren and great grandchildren were just as proud.  We know mommom was waiting for you with open arms. Our deepest condolences to all of you at such a sad time.  May your father & grandfather Rest In Peace for all of eternity.  

Dad you were my number one hero in my whole life.  You were through so much in your long lifetime including your heroic time in world war two fighting on the front lines and being severely wounded.  After going through that at barely 18 years old, you mended yourself physically and mentally and got on with building a life with mommy and bringing three lucky children into this world.  Even though things were tight, you're priority was to always provide for us with everything we needed, putting yourself last.  You were a tough, strict dad but guess what...you made me what i am today!  I am so fortunate that I had you in my life for over 63 years and we always exchanged I love you's whenever we spoke.  I am also so glad that in yours and mom's later years that you lived so close to me that I was able spend time and help you in these later years.  My three beautiful daughters and my six grandchildren love you so much and are lucky to have such memories of you.  While I am going to miss you I am glad you are now in peace with mommy.   Once again you are my one and only true hero and I am the man , the husband, the father and the grandfather I am because of you being the role model you were to me.  I LOVE YOU

I will always treasure memories of your pop over visits throughout the years just because you wanted to see us and spend a few minutes. Your eagerness to always lend a helping hand when we had anything going on.  I could not have asked for a better father in law.  You will be missed greatly, but I am consoled by the thought of you now being with mom, who was the love of your life,  your parents and all loved ones that have passed.  Rest In Peace dad.
