Lynn Kittelberger, age 81, of Ridge, New York, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Lynn lived a life full of love, laughter, and deep connections.
Lynn was predeceased by her beloved husband, John, retired FDNY, who passed in 2023. Together, they shared a beautiful marriage and enjoyed every moment of their winters together at their second home in Jensen Beach, Florida — a place filled with sunshine and treasured memories.
She leaves behind her devoted children: her daughter Jean and her husband Michael; her son Bobby and his wife Denise; and her daughter Jill and her husband Eric. Lynn was a proud and adoring grandmother to her six grandchildren: Christie (Nick), Corinne (Mike), Tommy (Celia), Bobby, Jake and Lexi — each of whom she adored with all her heart.
Lynn is also survived by her siblings Ed (Gina), June, Carol (Don predeceased) and sister in law Sue (Bob predeceased), along with many beautiful nieces and nephews whom she truly loved.
She spent her career as a Medical Secretary at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, where she brought professionalism, care, and kindness to everyone she worked with.
Lynn had many lifelong friends, with whom she shared countless vacations and cherished memories over the years — including Terry and Jeanne Tarpey, Tommy and Dolores Giolito, and Helen and Joe Sullivan (Joe predeceased). These friendships were a true blessing in her life.
And of course, Lynn’s loyal dog Tootsie, who passed in 2022, held a special place in her heart and brought her endless joy.
Lynn’s warmth, loyalty and love touched everyone who knew her. She will be remembered for her devotion to family, her enduring friendships, and the gentle kindness she shared freely with all.
