Margarethe Luise Cibants, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully departed this world on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at the age of 83. Margarethe leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will forever be treasured by those who knew her.

Margarethe is survived by her devoted sons, Steven (Judith) and Nicki (Lonni), who were the pride and joy of her life. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Monique.Her grandson, Steven Jr., granddaughter, Jasmine, and great-grandson, Ash, brought immeasurable joy and laughter to her days. Margarethe's family was her greatest source of happiness, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Margarethe had a zest for life that was evident in her passions and pursuits. She found solace and joy in the beauty of nature through her love of gardening, cultivating vibrant blooms that mirrored her vibrant spirit. Traveling the world allowed Margarethe to embrace new cultures, experiences, and friendships, enriching her life with memories that she held dear.

A social butterfly at heart, Margarethe enjoyed going out with friends and family, savoring the warmth of companionship and the joy of shared moments. Among her favorite pastimes was listening to the timeless melody of "Tiny Bubbles," a song that never failed to lift her spirits and evoke fond memories.

Margarethe's presence illuminated the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love will continue to inspire and resonate in the hearts of those she touched.

A visitation for Margarethe will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes - Miller Place, 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, New York 11764.

A funeral service will occur Friday, February 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM, 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, New York 11764.

An interment will occur Friday, February 9, 2024 at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, New York 11933.
