O'Brien, Mary Alice on December 10, 2012 of Port Jefferson, LI. Formerly of Bronxville, NY. Beloved sister of Joseph D. O'Brien Jr. and his wife Margaret, Nancy Burns and her husband Robert and Patricia Casella and her husband Richard. Mary Alice is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She graduated from the College of Mt. St. Vincent's in 1960 and worked as a secretary for the Stamford Museum & Nature Center in Stamford, CT. She was a resident for many years of Bronxville, NY and came out to Long Island in March 2012 to be closer to her family. A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday at 11 AM at the Infant Jesus Chapel at St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson, LI. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the New York Foundling Hospital in MAs name either online at www.nyfoundling.org or by mail to New York Foundling at 590 Ave of the Americas NY, NY.
