Michael Philip Deyak

With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Michael Philip Deyak, aged 65, of Rocky Point, New York, who passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Michael's departure leaves behind a profound void, yet his memory will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who knew him.

Michael was not only a loving husband to his devoted wife, Donna Deyak, but also a pillar of strength and love for his family. He leaves behind his cherished daughter, Caitlyn Duke, and her husband Michael, along with his adored grandchildren, Emma and Greyson, who brought immeasurable joy to his life. He is also survived by his loving siblings, Joseph Deyak(Mary), Mark Deyak (Cathy), and Gloria Hoehne.

In addition to his roles within his family, Michael was a retired ex-captain of the Rocky Point Volunteer Fire Department, where his dedication and service were unwavering. He was a steadfast supporter of his favorite sports teams, the Mets, Rangers, and Jets, his loyalty enduring through both victories and defeats.

Michael found fulfillment in his career with King Kullen, where he dedicated himself to his work with passion and diligence. Yet, above all, he treasured his role as a proud Pop Pop to his grandchildren, showering them with love, laughter, and wisdom.

A visitation to honor Michael's memory will take place on Friday, February 23, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by another visitation from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes - Miller Place, located at 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, New York 11764. A solemn funeral service will be held on the same day, February 23, 2024, at 8:30 PM at the funeral home.

Michael will be laid to rest on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, situated at 3442 Route 112, Coram, New York 11933.
