One year later  I can 't believe 365 days have gone by! I think of you every day because now you live in my heart and are truly a part of me. I love you forever

For my precious mother,

       I can't believe that you are really gone. Every day I made sure that I covered all the bases and that you had everything I could possibly give you to keep you well.  I just couldn't accept any thing less.  I just loved you more than you could have ever realized. I miss you, I can't walk past your door without feeling your presence. Yet I know you are not there. My heart is heavy. All I can do now is to carry your memory. You will be a part of me forever until the day God awakens you in the resurrection and we can be together again. I pray the time passes quickly so you will know that everything I told you was true,and all the pain of loss you felt will be gone!

Rest in Peace, Aunt Millie. We love you and know you are watching over us all from Heaven.

Dear Nana,
  It is December 31st and I'm realizing that this will be the first time that I will start a new year without you.   You never got to see me walk down the aisle or hand you my first born baby. We lived in the same house since I was three years old. You shared all of your best recipes with me and gave me all of your most cherished pictures to keep as my own. You gave me your special jewelry, marked with an "M", as we shared the same initials of our names. You told me over and over again how I used to run to you, smiling, with open arms when I was a baby. And in your last days, you said you always knew I would be the one to take care of you.
  I brought you cookies and cakes that you should not eat, put more salt in your food that you were not allowed to have (because you liked it) and painted your nails when you were too frail to care anymore. I helped take care of you in the final months, up until the last morning of your life.  And on the night you died, I held your still body for what some might see as a morbidly long time.  I was not ready to let you go.  I still don't think I am, as I sometimes think I smell you and hear your voice from the other room.  I will try to remember you with joy, warmth and tenderness instead of tears of pain and loss. That will be my only wish at midnight tonight <3

 Sorry to hear about Nana...I had the pleasure of meeting her and spending time with her during our high school and early college years. You are very lucky to have been able to spend some years with her. She definitely lived a full life.

 I just have to tell you I had a grandma just like that and yes we lived together for a really long time in Queens and LI...she was very special to me and she lives in my heart forever...I'm crying for you becaus I know the pain you feel right now and how much you miss her but always remember Melissa...you gave eachother lots of love and she is in heaven in a beautiful place, probably as happy as can be with those she hasn't seen in a very long time.  She is probably feeling better than she has in a really long time...she'll always be right there in your heart..stay the strong beautiful woman she taught you to be.

 Oh Melissa, I am so sorry your grandma passed away. You are so so lucky to have experienced such wonderful times with her! What an amazing life you both have for having had each other. You are a lucky grandaughter, and no doubt, she was so proud to be your grandma. May she rest in peace and always be your angel

 I am so very sorry Melissa. You were a wonderful granddaughter to her, I'm not surprised to hear of all the loving and nurturing things you did for her since that is always the way you conducted yourself around us. And now I know the secret to your fabulous cooking and baking treats! She taught you well. Hold on to the good times and special memories. Love you.

Just wanted to tell you, you and your family are on my mind. I might not have got the chance to meet Nana, but I know she was an amazing woman. I know your love and care for her helped her get through this rough time.. and i hope the memories of her will help you and yours now. I love you and know I'm here if and when you want to talk. ?

Thinking of you. Stay strong. We never lose the ones we love. As long as their in your heart they live on.

My Beloved Aunt, I can not remember a time when you were not in my live.  As a child I was always with you. In good times bad and sad tmes. You would always cook my favorite foods when I came to visit and bake my favorite cookies put them in a box and tie it with a bow. You were like a second mother to me and my heart is broken. You were the only one who would talk to me about my parents because you believed I should know who they were. For that I will be forever grateful. So we will go on in the hope we well one day see you again.  You will always live in my heart and mind. Rest in peace my dear aunt.

Beloved Grandmother-
It was just a few days ago I saw you, gave you a kiss and told you I loved you not knowing this would be the last time I would see you. On Friday night, the world was a colder place knowing that you were no longer with us. Although you are gone, I will still remember the warmth and love you brought into our lives. R.I.P Aunt Millie, you were always the fun aunt to me growing up. I could sit down and laugh thinking of all the things I did to you but you never got mad at me. I'll always cherish your memory, I'm glad I got to see you in the later years of my life. Even in your 90's, you still told things the way you saw it.

I tried so hard to keep you with me forever.  I thought that I could fix anything that happened to you.  Even when I saw that it was a struggle for you to get by from day to day, I never gave up.  Was I selfish?  If I was, I'm sorry.  I just loved you so much.  I never wanted to admit that one day you wouldn't be there.  I tried to prepare myself, rehearsing what it would be like many times.  I knew you were slipping away but I would never admit it to you so that you would never give up on yourself.  I never told you goodbye and I feel that I left things unsaid, but you seem to feel that words were just not necessary.  So you got it your way and we parted without words.  Until we're together again, I'll carry you inside me.  You were always my sidekick and some day I know you will be again.  I'll love you forever.

My heart is heavy knowing that I will no longer hear your voice or see your face.  Even though I might not always have shown it, I loved you like a second mother.  When I was a little girl, I loved spending time with you.  You were there for every milestone in my life.  I am glad you got to witness the birth of your 3 grandchildren.  Kristian will surely miss you and the ritual of getting Hershey bars from you.  Kaitlyn is just heartbroken.  But I am glad you got to spend one of your last days with Kayden.  The smile on your face when you watched him made me happy.  We are all so lucky to have had you in our lives for so long!  I love you Grandma. Always and Forever....
