Millie is survived by her adoring spouse, Joseph; her son Michael Lieberman (Nancy); her daughter Christine Sfakis (John); and her daughter Diane (Chris); her grandchildren Ashley and her husband Casian, Lauren and her husband Leigh, Natalie and her husband Jesse, Michelle and her husband James, Michael, John, Christian, and her great grandchildren Hunter, Mikayla, Silas, and Eden.
Millie and Joseph met some 64 years ago at a hotel dance, and from the first step they were destined to tango, merengue and salsa through life cheek to cheek. Although from two different backgrounds and two different boroughs, they made a life together. The welcomed their three children into the world, and while Joseph worked, Millie spent her days making their house a warm and loving home. She was a talented cook who nourished her family with her meals such as her ziti, famous rice balls and olive salads. Eventually she would become a doting grandmother, even a great grandmother! Millie will be missed by all greatly.
A visitation for Millie will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes - Miller Place, 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, New York 11764. A visitation will occur Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, New York 11764. A funeral mass (details pending) will occur Thursday, October 5, 2023 at St Mark's Roman Catholic Church, 105 Randall Rd, Shoreham, New York 11786.
