I have such fond memories of her! Always kind to everyone! When I was younger, I would always look forward to her coming over our house for Bible study. I would always ask "Is Mrs. Salyer coming?" She always made me laugh! It's the only time I would sit through Bible study. What a wonderful soul. Prayers to all the family! May she Rest In Peace! XO

Salyer Family,

I am saddened to learn of the passing of your Mom. I will always remember the kindness your Mom & Dad shared with me & my family. We were so close growing up, it was like we were one family at times. Your home was always warm and welcoming filled with love and affection for all that entered. I will always treasure that time in my life I spent with the Salyer family. I love & miss you all. May Nancy rest peacefully, under the trees of Angels. She is loved by many. Tom...

My memories of Guy and his parents stretch back to the 1960's when we, as grade school children, would play across the Tides neighborhoods and dig underground forts across in the vacant lot across from guys house (I'm still amazed that we never got more than scrapes and bruises from some of our activities). Your mom and your house were always a safe haven and escape from some of the more "behaviorally active" children in the neighborhood. Those days, your house and backyard, and your mom's welcoming presence are just some of the fond memories I have of growing up in that idyllic place. I thank her here as a child never could during those moments in time. Peace Mrs. Salyer.
