Paul Dubois

Paul Dubois, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on August 31, 2025, at the age of 63. A longtime resident of Rocky Point, New York, Paul will be remembered for his boundless curiosity, skilled hands, and deep love for his family and the simple pleasures of life.

Born on August 3, 1962, Paul lived a life full of purpose and passion. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Linda, and a proud father to Daniel Dubois (Christina), Shannon Dubois (E.J. Gibney), and Derrick Dubois. He was also a loving stepfather to Tracy Ross (Scott) and Ryan Miller (Maria). Paul found great joy in his role as a grandfather to Claire, Desmond, Jayla, Evan, Evelyn, and Christian, always ready with a story, a joke, or a quiet moment in the garden.

Paul was known for his love of saltwater fishing, especially at his favorite spots—Conscience Bay and Crystal Brook Hollow. An avid gardener, he took great pride in growing vegetables, flowers, and plants that amazed friends and neighbors alike. He had a knack for fixing things and could often be found in his basement workshop surrounded by tools, tinkering with repairs, working on computers, or monitoring the weather with his home weather machine.

Paul was one of four siblings and is survived by his sisters Linda Gardner (Dinny), Helen DuBois (Matt Addesso), and Mary Jansen (Mike), with whom he shared deep bonds and cherished memories.

His quiet wisdom, steady presence, and warm sense of humor will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held to honor Paul’s life on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes – Miller Place, located at 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, New York 11764. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate the life of a man who gave so much to those around him.
