I remember Uncle Bob as a lovely kind person.  I have a dear old memory of him. I must have been 3 or 4 at a July 4 picnic when he roasted me a marshmallow.  I brought it around the side of the house where the tiger lillies were and took off the brown part and ate the soft middle. This was before an addition was put on the house for all my cousins, and there was a blue hydrangea in bloom in the back yard.

My special memories of Dad:
    - sitting in the chior loft at St. Martha's while Dad played the organ for 7 A.M. mass
    - holding Dad's hand at organ 
concerts
    - listening with Dad to barber shop quartets at Salisbury Park
    - taking long walks with Dad at the beach looking for shells and smooth stones and anything else we could find.(Jones Beach, parking field 9)
    - the smell of the wood as Dad did woodworking
    - Dad grilling hot dogs out back
    - the green 1956 Mercury that Dad used to drive
    - all the clocks that Dad built or fixed, especially the grandfather clock that chimed every 15 minutes
    - Dad's amazement and wonder of the universe and looking through the telescope which he built
    - Dad walking me down the aisle at my wedding
    - the smile on Dad's face as he held my son David
    - our daily phone conversations while Dad was sick
    - holding Dad's hand at the nursing home as I said good-bye

Dad was a wonderful man and a great father. I look forward to one day seeing him again. Love to all of you for your kind words, support, and prayers for Mom, my sister and brothers, and myself. -Joyce

Our deepest sympathy to the entire Henry family.  I will always remember how he loved to play the organ whenever the Kiely kids came over! On a personal note, I remember the beautiful display case he made for me, which was wood carved and had red velvet backing, with my name on it.  I still treasure that case to this day! My deepest condolences on the passing of your Dad. I have very fond memories of my Uncle Bob. He always greeted our family visits with a big smile and we all got to enjoy his beautiful organ music. He loved talking about all of you, he was so proud of everyone and he shared beautiful pictures and stories with us of your family. He lives on in our hearts. Our sincere condolenses on your great loss.  I will always remember with great fondness the many times during my childhood my family visited the Uniondale home as well as the weekend Uncle Bob (and Aunt Margaret) spent with us for the first family reunion in Owego, NY. He will be missed.
