Ron, affectionately known as “Ronny,” was a beloved, cherished, and devoted son, cousin, friend, and member of the Sound Beach community. One of the early “settlers” of Sound Beach, Ron made the community his home and became part of the fabric of the place he loved.
Professionally, Ron enjoyed a long and successful career as a Vice President with Bigelow and Karastan. But it was his devotion to family and friends that defined him most. He was a devoted son who cared for his widowed mother for more than 30 years. His steady commitment and loving care were an important part of who he was and a reflection of the kindness and loyalty he brought to all of his relationships.
Ron will be remembered for his deep devotion to family, his many cherished friendships, and his adventurous spirit. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life—gardening, crabbing, spending time at the beach, sharing lunch with friends, and attending live performances at the Gateway Theatre. The beach held a special place in his heart. He loved going there, even if it was simply to sit in his car, enjoy his lunch, and take in the surroundings. Travel was another lasting pleasure, and he especially looked forward to his yearly visits to family, including treasured time with his cousin Mary Ann in Arizona.
Ron is survived by his close cousins Russell Pulick and his wife, Debbie; Barbara Foster; Bob Pulick and his wife, Patty; and numerous other cousins throughout the country, all of whom will carry his memory with them.
He was predeceased by his beloved sister, Marie Kleinpeter, and niece, Cathy Kleinpeter, who now welcome Ron with open arms.
Ron’s warmth, loyalty, generosity, and zest for life touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who will remember him with love and gratitude for all the years, memories, laughter, and friendship he shared with them.
