Rosemarie is now reunited with her beloved husband, Anthony, with whom she shared 69 wonderful years of marriage. Their love story began when they met at a church social in Brooklyn—a meeting that would become the beginning of a lifetime of love, partnership, and family.
Rosemarie was also welcomed into Heaven by her beloved daughter, Joanne Cipollino, and son-in-law, Barry Werner, who passed before her.
Rosemarie leaves behind her loving daughter, Debora Werner, and son-in-law, Michael Cipollino, who will forever cherish her memory. She was the proud grandmother of Corinne Mansueto (Philip), Michael Cipollino (Lizeth), and Robert Werner (Brittany Trammell), and the adored great-grandmother of Anthony, Vincent, and Michael.
She is also survived by her beloved siblings, James, Rose, Angela, and Salvatore.
Rosemarie was a woman of many talents and passions. During her career as a Fashion Coordinator, she brought her creativity and sense of style to everything she did. She enjoyed tennis, golf, mahjong, and dancing, and she had a wonderful ability to bring joy and energy wherever she went.
Those who knew Rosemarie would describe her as beloved, devoted, faithful, generous, inspirational, and selfless. Rosemarie—affectionately known as “Mama”—could light up a room, but more importantly, she lit up the lives of everyone around her.
Though she was a strong woman with many talents and interests, her greatest accomplishment and most cherished role was being a mother and Mama. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to what she considered the greatest blessing and privilege of her life: her family.
Rosemarie instilled in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren the values that guided her own life, including her unwavering “never-give-up” motto. She taught them through her words and, even more so, through the way she lived—with strength, generosity, love, and devotion.
But perhaps the greatest gift Rosemarie gave her family was her unwavering faith in God. Her faith was the foundation of her life and the legacy she leaves in the hearts of those who loved her. It is a gift that will continue through generations.
Rosemarie’s family takes comfort in knowing that she is once again with Anthony, the love of her life, and surrounded by the loved ones who went before her. While her presence will be deeply missed, the love she gave, the lessons she taught, and the faith she shared will remain forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
Her love was her legacy. Her faith was her gift. And her family was her greatest joy.
