Salvatore leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to his family. He is survived by his beloved spouse, Mary Tagliaferro, his cherished daughters, Donna Masi and Debra Pruyn (Peter), and his dear brother, Frank Tagliaferro. Salvatore's memory will be forever cherished by his grandchildren: Michelle Masi, Jack Pruyn, Sophia Pruyn, and James Pruyn.
Salvatore was a proud veteran of the US Army, serving his country with honor. He was a devoted fan of the Yankees, Giants, and Rangers, always cheering them on during their games.
In addition to his love for sports, Salvatore was a very selfless individual. Even in his own time of need, he was more worried about his caretakers and family, demonstrating his generous and compassionate nature.
Salvatore had a passion for painting, especially during the fall season when he loved to paint on pumpkins, bringing joy and creativity to those around him.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during visitation hours at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes - Miller Place, located at 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, New York 11764, on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
A funeral service will take place at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes - Miller Place on Wednesday, february 28 at 10:30 am before departing to the cemetery. An interment service will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Pinelawn Memorial Park and Garden Mausoleums, located at 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, New York 11739.
