Vinny, first you will be missed by me and my family.  The kids just loved you. If you knew Vinny from Archbishop John Hughes council 481, back in the 60's, to St. Jude council in 2022. you knew Vinny. He was the person you trusted and depended on. You will be missed.

Since the time I joined the Knights of Columbus, Vinny was always friendly and kind to me. He was a fixture at our Saturday breakfasts, and I enjoyed his unique sense of humor and also learning from his experience, both the Knights and life in general. We will miss Vinny, and my deepest sympathy to his wife and family. 

We are sad to say goodbye to our dear friend Vinny. My family and I had the pleasure to know Vinny for over 16 years as a brother Knight. We have done so many events together, from setting up to breaking down, always giving his 100%, Vinny has always been a pleasure to be around. We will miss his stories and funny sense of humor, and his  measuring stick. My family knew Vinny was always a great guy to be around. We would like to extend our condolences to his loving wife Ann. We will always remember how much he loved and adored her. 
Until we meet again, Vinny will be forever in our hearts.

I became a Knight around the same time that Vinnie joined St. Jude Council in 2004. Prior to that I was a Squire in #3887 Squire's Circle at St. Jude in Rocky Point. 
For over 15 years, Vinnie was the guy in charge of the corporation - he was always there and now his loss is greatly felt. 
A number of times when I volunteered to move tables/chairs around before/after an event or run the vacuum, he would impart some of his wisdom on me or tell me a story about growing up in Brooklyn and his life. 
Vinnie was a great guy and an important part of the KofC Council at St. Jude in Rocky Point, and was the take charge kind of "old school" guy at the head of the corporation that made what we do in the council possible. 
Over the past 7 years as an officer in the council, I spent many meetings, time before/after events and just stopping in to change the sign outside, or breakfast on a Saturday speaking with him and listening to what he had to say, and it was always worthwhile to be a part of the group as we gathered as Knights and Brothers.
I will miss Vinnie very much and I offer my prayers to our council's Patron Saint, St. Jude on his behalf and for Ann and their family.
