Wayne, My Best Buddy
In 1969 we finished serving our Country and decided to take advantage of the GI Bill. We kind of migrated to each other because we were Veterans. I remember weekends where Wayne would be in his room studying and I would be trying to get him to go out and party. When it was time for Spring Break and a couple of us decided to head to Daytona Beach. Wayne just wanted to go home to Long Island. On our way to Daytona, we took a side track showing up at Wayne's house. It took awhile and we convinced him to come along with us. When we arrived on the beach, we told Wayne to sit on the hood of my Camaro and just look pretty. He was our Chick Magnet. After graduating from College we married and we both had 2 boys close in age. We tried to get together twice a year. Winters in Woodstock, Vermot skiing and summers in Long Island boating. We have so manyk wonderful memories over the past 43 years. I will greatly miss my Best Buddy. We love you Wayne, Patty, Chris and TJ.. God bless, Will Moniz

Wayne, our dear, cherished true friend. An accomplished individual, with a smile as big as his heart. Always putting family first, he's a husband and father to be proud of.
Will and I had the pleasure of knowing him during our time at college. Buddies from the first meeting. Fun times we will never forget. He introduced us to the lovely Patty and our circle continued to grow. A cherished friendship grew with the birth of your two fantastic boys and ours.. They are the BEST. I have known and loved this family so much. We built many wonderful memories together over the years. So much laughter. Wow ,what terrific adventures.
Skiing changing into snowboarding, sailing and bravely flirting with the wind, the motorcycle and ballooning in Az.
Remembering the many blessings of the beautiful years we've shared. I hope these happy memories will help carry you through this sorrowful time.
The days ahead will be long and hard, but you know that you can lean on our Lord for HIS strength and HIS comfort.
God bless you.
Loving sympathy from the heart and us,
Dawn and Will

To this day I can't snack on Goldfish crackers and not think of the countless summer days spent on the sailboat, down below with the Baylis boys goofing off. Or our winter trips to the mountains where Wayne would tackle the double black diamond trail "The Face" with such speed and prowess as if it was a simple walk in the park! I learned a lot from Wayne over the years and continue to admire him. My deepest sympathy to the entire family.
