July 25, 1939 – April 15, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wilma, a woman whose life was defined by her love of gardening, animals, her family and friends, and by her unwavering kindness and generosity. Wilma passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, at the age of 86.
As a mother, Wilma was the center of her family. She was a source of strength and created a home filled with warmth and laughter.
She was a cherished sister and sister-in-law. To her nieces and nephews, she was “Tante,” the one who always had the best food, the biggest hugs, and an open door.
Perhaps her favorite role of all was being an Oma. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she took immense pride in watching them grow, always ready with a favorite meal and lots of fruit and snacks.
Wilma’s legacy is a testament to her gentle spirit, kindness, and warmth. She showed us that family isn't defined by blood alone, but by the love shared with those we choose to gather around the table.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, her lifelong friends, and is reunited in peace with the love of her life, Thomas Pagnotta.
A Funeral Mass for Wilma will be held on June 10th at St. Louis de Montfort, Sound Beach. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Hospital.
