Mary "Berta" A. Steedle

Mary A “Berta” (Crail) Steedle age 93 of Etna, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2016. Devoted wife of the late Joseph F. Steedle. Loving mother of Ronald J. and Donald F. (Susan) Steedle, Colleen A. (Eric) Sowers and Eileen M. (Rick) Toth. Proud grandmother of Gregory and Nicole (Steedle), Kelly, Sean, Tara, Bret, Kurt and Vanda (Sowers), Michael, Nicholas and Kaylie (Cullison); and great-grandmother of Kendall, Jackson, Katie, Stone, Phoenix, Lincoln, Maverick, River, Riley, Hannah and Amelia. Berta was the last child surviving of her eight siblings. Sister-in-law of Bernard “Leo” (Joanne) Steedle. Friends received Sunday from 2-8 PM in the Healy-Hahn Funeral Home, Inc., 512 Grant Ave., Millvale, 412-821-2940. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 am in Holy Spirit Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Royal Cemetery, Shaler Township. “ The Loving Matriarch of the Steedle Family will be greatly missed.” Family suggests memorial to Berta’s Parish, Holy Spirit Church, 608 Farragut St., Pgh PA 15209.
