Mrs. Vivian Malak, of Laurel Gardens, Pittsburgh, PA, peacefully went to heaven on Monday, June 15, 2020 at the age of 97. Vivian Blair Malak (Pegram) was born March 24, 1923. Born in Williamson, WV, she was the daughter of Clayton and Dorothy Pegram and had two sisters Bethel (Gene)Trent and Maxine Pegram. In early 1945 Vivian began receiving letters from a handsome young medic in the Army, Johnnie. After World War II, he went to meet her family in Virginia, then she went to Pittsburgh to meet his family, and on the third meeting they married on December 14, 1945 in Roanoke, VA.
