Alan Scott Dixon

passed away on February 3, 2024, at the age of 53 in Carson, NV, after many years living in Lake Tahoe, CA. He was born on April 17, 1970 in Newark, Ohio to Valerie and William Dixon. Al was preceded in death by his father William Dixon. He is survived by his parents Valerie and Paul Morlock of Florida, his brother Robert Dixon of Monroe, CT, his sister Judi Otton of Oxford, CT, his nieces Maggie and Cassie Dixon of Monroe, the Karlins family of Monroe, CT and the Rome family of Cambridge, Mass.

Al was a gentle and outgoing man who had a deep love for the outdoors. He found joy in skiing, hiking and fishing. Al’s adventurous spirit led him to spend many years working at Lake Tahoeski areas, where he shared his passion for the slopes with countless others. Additionally, he was a skilled carpenter who took pride in his work.

Born in Newark, Ohio, Al attended Newtown CT schools and graduated from Newtown High School. He continued his education at Ohio State University.

Al will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His warm and loving nature will be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
