Born on March 24, 1942 in Gary, Indiana, Douglas Gordon Vido passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025, at the age of 83 in Gardnerville, Nevada. Doug is preceded in death by his father, Leslie Samuel Vido and his mother, Irene Carter Vido. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sarah Vido, son, Les Vido, sister, Leslie Green, niece, Christi Patton, and grandchildren Grant Robert Vido and Sophia Elizabeth Vido.
Doug served in the Coast Guard for eight years, was a loving father and husband, and had a love and passion for classic cars. He was also known to be an avid fan of the L.A. Dodgers and the L.A. Rams.
