Preceded in death was her mother Elise Hinton. She is survived by her father Dream Gregory (Debbie-Sam) Minden NV, brother Hobie Gregory (Tisha) Carson City, NV and grandparents Thomas and Jeanne Paulus of Ohio.
Layla grew up in Juniper Valley, Minden Nevada. She was full of life and intelligence and as a child, was Valedictorian in Pinion Hills elementary school. She grew up to the great height of 4’10” and was a hippy in spirit. She loved music, especially Led Zeppelin and the Doors. As one said, “Layla could put Google to shame with her historical musical knowledge.” Layla was friendly and added a spark to rooms she entered. She loved her daddy and called him daily first thing in the morning making sure he was okay. These are calls daddy will miss.
Laylas life was full of potential and sadly taken by the devastating disease of alcoholism. She will be missed.
