Marina E. Williams-Jones, 77, of Salinas, CA (Born in the Philippines) passed away suddenly due to a sudden illness on Monday January 25, 2021. She attended Salinas High School graduating class of 1962.
Marina was born on July 18, 1943. She worked for JCPenney Hair Salon as a hair dresser for many years. She attended Hartnell College and was a volunteer for the Monterey County Dept of Probation back in 1992.
She is preceded in death by her Parents Gregorio & Zeniada Sagun; Brothers Romeo & Rueben Sagun; Sister Estrellita (Ester) Bei and her Son David G. Williams.
She is survived by her Husband John Jones of Salinas, CA; Daughter Sherrie (Jim) Taylor of Wellington, NV; Son Marc Williams of Carson City, NV; Brother Rudy (Maria) Sagun of Salinas, CA; Sister Esmeralda (Mimi) (Rick) Barkley of Morgan Hill, CA; Step-Daughter Rochelle Jones; Step-Sons Earl, Howard, Wayne (Deceased), Marlon & Chris; along with her immediate Grandchildren Rebecca (Becky) Alquiza-Williams & Anthony Williams and numerous Step-Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews & Cousins.
She loved football, a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan, loved and cherished all holidays especially Christmas time when all sides of the family got together. She will truly be missed by all of us.
