Born 3/7/1926 in Greenbush, MN. Passed away 5/28/2012.
Preceded in death by husband, John K. Knudsen; parents, Minnie & Robert Nesteby; sisters, Ruby Mae, Irene & Marie; brothers, Roy, Clifford, Bob & Melvin. Survived by daughters, Carole Ann Erickson of Mpls., Delores Jean “DeDe” (Dennis) Wisner of Oakdale, and Karen (Mark) Dinsmore of Eagan; brother-in-law, William H. (Bev) Knudsen of Chisago City; sister-in-law, Katherine Nesteby of Lacey, WA; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
Alice was retired from Sears Roebuck & Co., prior to that she worked at the Armory in Arden Hills inspecting bullets and at Brown & Bigelow. She was Girl Scout Leader of Troop 1190 and a lifetime member of Veterans Memorial Museum.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2PM, SATURDAY, 6/2/12 w/ visitation 1 hr. prior at Sunset Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd. NE, Mpls.
