Al was born and raised near Olivia, MN. After enlisting and spending 3 years in the USCG stationed off the coast of North Carolina, Al joined Honeywell where he worked for 42 years until retiring in 1990. He loved golfing, fishing, camping and just being outdoors enjoying nature.
Preceded in death by parents William and Agnes Fimon; brothers Ben and George; sister Lorraine; and former spouse Claire.
Al is survived by his children: Jennifer Boese (AJ), Kevin Fimon, Julie Dahlberg, Karen Baltzer, and Karla Vick (Kevin); grandchildren Brandon Boese (Kellie), Maren Vick (Danny) and Kyle Vick (Emily); other relatives and friends.
Memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, October 28 at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd. NE. Visitation beginning at 10am followed by memorial service and interment.
Memorials preferred to the National Parks Foundation in memory of Alois Fimon.
