Age 92 of Columbia Heights, died in Duluth on Sept. 7. Preceded in death by Toots, his wife of 66 years, parents, sister, brothers and sister-in-law, and niece. Survived by daughters Lou Ann and Nancy, family and friends.
75 year member of Pipefitters Local #539 mostly with Horowitz Mechanical. Hobbies included fishing and hunting at the family cabin lovingly built by hand. He was always a handy Mr. Fix-It. Bernie enjoyed traveling to Hawaii and family road trips, as well as bowling, golf, playing cards and listening to country music.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 13 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Chapel, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd NE, Minneapolis. Funeral service at Sunset Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, September 14 at 11:00 AM with a visitation one hour prior to service. Interment at Sunset Cemetery.
