Betty was born July 26, 1927 in Minneapolis, and grew up in Lauderdale. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout her life. Betty and her true love, Paul, nurtured a deep and unconditional love that continues to shine as an example. She enjoyed traveling with her “Honey” to visit loved ones, to take their special trips to Duluth, or rides to see the fall leaves. She was devoted to her grandchildren, never missing occasions and they absolutely adored her. She devoted her time and unwavering love to her family, the size of which she and Paul said they never could have imagined. Having so much love to give, she cared for over 100, mostly newborn, babies for 9 years through a foster care program. She embraced modern technologies as a way to stay close to her family and be a steadfast voice of love and support. Everyone who came into contact with her knew her to be the kindest and sweetest lady. She was eager to help others and always there to listen.
