Cathy was born in Minneapolis to Nicholas and Gwendolyn Heffner on September 2nd, 1960. She attended Spring Lake Park High School and worked in industrial sales, until retiring from Fastenal Company when she became ill.
Cathy had a beautiful smile, a vivacious personality and lived life to the fullest. An avid shoe collector, sun worshipper, and Vikings fan - she loved being up at her cabin, gardening, traveling, the casino, dancing, meat raffles, a good book, and spending time with her family.
Cathy is survived by her loving partner, Andreas Johnson; children, Chad (Jeanna) Southerling, Shana (Nick) Terano, Dustin (Jessica) Montague; former spouse, Daniel Montague; Parents, Nick and Gwen Heffner; siblings, Chris (Nancy) Heffner, Wendy (Chuck) Wilson, John (Michele) Heffner; and seven grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by; many nieces, nephews, close friends, and family members.
A private funeral service will be held Friday, February 5th, with a simultaneous livestream on Facebook. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery in St. Anthony, MN. Arrangements are by Sunset Funeral Home.
