A devoted husband, proud father, overjoyed grandfather, supportive brother, and loving son. Chuck was an accomplished and skilled carpenter, enthusiastic BMW owner, and a summer loving boater. He spent the majority of his life traveling and was always searching for the next best stout or porter at breweries across the country.
Chuck attended and graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato where he met his lovely wife Anita, spending many fun years in college together. He worked hard throughout his life in the construction business and was a construction project manager for 25 years. He could be heard saying ‘Life is Good’ often and with meaning. These words became his life’s motto. In his free time he could be found diving head first into his children's many interests and after school activities. He enjoyed the Minnesota summer heat, relaxing in the ‘Twins garage’, taking on home improvement projects, and spending quality time with his grandson. In his later years he realized his dream of buying a home in the Arizona sun and spent 3 years enjoying his time with Anita in early retirement; a beer every Monday with his sister and a martini every Friday.
Preceded in death by mother Gail, mother-in-law Leona, father-in-law Richard, brother-in-law Carl, and sister-in-law Bev.
Survived by his wife of 40 years Anita, his children Joshua and Courtney(Aaron), grandson Henry, sister Lori, brother-in-law Keith(Tina), nieces and nephews Cassie(Greg), Jeff(Leah), Trevor(Emily), Becca(Sam), and Breanna.
