Charles Eugene Hayes

Preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Carol M Hayes; parents, Albert and Margaret; brother, Marvin; sisters, Loretta, Betty Lou, Mary Jane.

Survived by children; Cindy (Steve) Learned, Rusty (Carol) Hayes, Lori (Rick) Howard, Vicki (Lynn) Johansen, Nancy Savage, Jeff (Randy) Hayes; grandchildren Travis, Charlie, Tiffany, Justin, Daniel, Joe, Kyle, Noah; great grandchildren Zachary, Maxwell, Jonathan, Alexander and Vivian; brother, Jim; sisters, Dorothy and Joyce.

Charles worked for Red Owl as a Warehousemen for 37 years. He coached Football and Baseball for many years at Farview Park. He enjoyed playing Golf, Traveling, Snowmobiling, and spending time with his Family, who he loved so deeply. He often said “you 6 kids are the best thing I’ve done in my life”. A huge highlight in his life was going and watching his kids; Grandkids and Great-grandkids sporting events and many weekend tournaments, which brought him so much joy.

Funeral Service Wednesday, July 16th at 11:00 a.m. at Gustavus Adolphus Church 1669 Arcade St, St. Paul, MN 55106 with visitation 1 hour prior to Service. Burial will be held at Sunset Cemetery, Minneapolis.
