Always had a great time when Mom and I would visit the cities and stay with David and Joyce while we were there.

David was a great leader of mathematics education in Minnesota. His professional skills and his personal integrity and kindness were evident in all that he did. David left his mark on the Minnesota Council of Teachers of Mathematics!

Peace be with you all. While we didn't get to spend a lot of time with David he was always interested in conversation at Mary and Del's home. I loved his intelligent smile and his tidbits of wisdom. I bet I would haved loved math more if I had been in one of his classes. It was clear to see that he loved life and people. Blessed be his memory. Joyce and Mark manning and family
