David P. Zellman

Age 66 of Mora, passed away peacefully at his home on March 31, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim Zellman and Lauretta Settergren.

David is survived by his wife of nearly 32 years, June (Lilienthal) Zellman; daughter, Angela Zellman; son, Davie Zellman; brother, Sheldon (Diane) Zellman; and many loving relatives.

David grew up in Mora and attended Mora High School. He met June Lilienthal and they were married on June 18, 1983. David farmed his whole life and enjoyed his life’s work. He also loved fishing, especially on Esquagama Lake and Ross Lake. The center of his world was June and their children; David lived for his family and treasured their many road trips where they traveled all over the state of Minnesota. He will be forever loved and deeply missed.

Funeral Services: 1:00 PM, with visitation 1 hour prior on Tuesday, April 7th, 2015 at Living Hope Church, 2297 210th Avenue in Mora, MN. Pastor Steve Ekholm will officiate the services. Pallbearers will be: Sheldon Zellman, Sr., Jim Zellman, Sheldon Zellman, Jr., Bill Zellman, Rob Lilienthal, Kenny Lilienthal. Bill Kunz will serve as a honorary pallbearer.
