Died last Sunday, October 6th, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, son, Greg, and 7 siblings. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Cheryl Ryan (Scott) Cindy Bartelt, (Al) and Christine Brintnall, (Tim). She was also survived by her 9 grandchildren, Nicole Ryan, Bradley Ryan, (Jenny) Katie Glover, (Brett) Krystal Ryan, (Marc), David Nielsen, Dakotah O’Neil, Cheyenne O’Neil, Kelsey Brintnall, and Gracie Brintnall. She was survived by her 4 great grandchildren, Madeline Glover, Austin Glover, Rachel Ryan, and Baby Jensen (to be born soon,) as well. She also has a brother and sister-in-law still living, Donald and Marlyn Dahl. She was survived by many other members of extended family and friends. A visitation will be held at 9:00 A.M and a Memorial Service at 9:45 a.m., at the Fort Snelling Chapel, following a Burial Service at Fort Snelling Cemetary. There will be a private room reserved, lunch provided at Old Country Buffet, Richfield, MN. In honor of Donna Mae, memorials may be given to Samaritan’s Purse.
Donna brought a lot of people together leaving an incredible legacy behind her that will last forever, in this world, and in heaven with God where we will all see her again.
Interests in Life; Donna had great compassion for many people when they were in need. Her mind could not rest until she was rest assured that needs for others were on track.
Donna's interests: She was a master of numbers with Data Entry/Bookkeeping and neatly organized with everything in her life. She had a great love for all Crafts and had much patience for teaching of any craft making. (She could design her own crafts and fix and teach anyone how to finished a complicated project with the utmost patience). She made sure everyone had plenty of homemade dish cloths and towels! She loved socializing and loved company at anytime of day of the week and accompanied all with much hospitality. She was a master at puzzle making and could finish any difficult puzzle for anyone and had a love for card playing with family and friends. She loved to talk about her Norwegian heritage and share many of her life stories and looked forward to being all together with family and friends in heaven as well. We will all greatly miss her until that time of unity.
