Emily was born on August 13, 1943 to Elmer and Geraldine Najbrt in Chippewa Falls, WI but grow up in Cadott, WI. She later moved to Minnesota and resided in New Brighton.
She worked at Wells Fargo, Minneapolis in management for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; parents, Elmer and Geraldine Najbrt; brother, Gregory; Najbrt; brother in law's, Mitch Mitchell and Mike Hangartner.
Emily is survived by her sisters, Louise (Elmer) Sadlovsky, Christine (James) Mickelson, Gloria Hangartner, Darlene Mitchell; brother, Douglas (Patricia) Najbrt; sister in law, Carol (Don) Kurtzbein; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great great-nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Brighton with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.
Burial will be held at 1:30 pm at Sunset Cemetery, Minneapolis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Heart Association, or a Cancer Association or donor's choice.
