Age 86, of Columbia Heights, passed away Sept. 12, 2012. Born in Carson, ND on Dec. 27, 1925.
Preceded in death by her husband William; parents, Jacob & Katherina Mitzel; and seven siblings: Christian, William, Al, Sophie, Lillian, Edna & Esther. Survived by her daughter, Darlene (Gordon) Knealing; sons, Gordon (Sylvia) Nelson, Stephen Lechko, and Gary (Joann) Lechko; five grandchildren: Todd (Debra) Knealing, Amy Knealing; Lara (Jason) Engh, Billy Lechko, and Jessica Lechko; great-grandchildren, William Lechko III & Isla Engh; many nieces, nephews, step-grand & great-grandchildren.
Former member & past officer of the MN Mycological Society.
Memorial Service: 11 AM, with visitation 1 hr prior, on Thur, Sept. 20 at Sunset Chapel, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd NE, Minneapolis, 612-789-3596.
