Her interests included family, gardening, walking on the beach, reading, baking, arts and crafts and was active in her church. Attending her children's sporting events, she was their biggest fan cheering them on. Esther had a great sense of humor that was enjoyed by her family. After retirement Esther and Gale spent 26 years in Donna,Texas as winter birds enjoying many wonderful winters there together.
Survived by children, Linda Kasperek, Thomas Kasperek, Timothy (Yolanda) Kasperek, Lori (T.J.) Jorgenson and Jeffrey (Merry) Kasperek; her brothers, Edmond, James and Dennis; sisters, Donna and Esther; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; many relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gale; mother, Lydia; father, Otto and brother, Daniel.
Funeral service 12:30 PM with visitation one hour prior, Saturday January 28, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home, 2250 St. Anthony Boulevard Northeast, Minneapolis. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
