Florence found beauty in the "everyday" things of her life.  We celebrate that fact of her life and her enjoyment of those around her.
We are3 in sorrow over her passing, but find solictice in the Loard and the knowledge of her love of life and life in heaven with the Lord to come.

Nettie & Jeff,  Flo was a super neat lady who was always fun to be around.  One event that keeps coming to mind was the trip to Deerwood for Thanksgiving with Cindy.  BURR!  It was a cold one.  Flo was not sure she wanted to come along in the beginnng but as usual she enjoyed herself.  Jeff drove the old blue van and we were all snuggled together to keep warm.  When we got to Cindy's Flo took the show. "Buster" the family dog wanted nothing to do with anyone else but her.  She cuddled Buster all evening.  Just one of many nice times we had together.  
 Flo and I had an unwritten pact.  We stuck up for each other.  Nettie loved to share some crazy event that seemed to happened to me.  She would ask her if she wanted to hear a "Jeanie Story".  Nettie had a way of wanting me to look BAD, but Flo always had a kind comment.  Nettie would tell me later and just shake her head.  She was a special, kind lady who won my heart.  Tom and I regret that we are  not to be able to be with you today to celebrate her life along with her many friends and family.

Lynne, Remember the night I slept over and we were making scary faces and I had made one that made you scream and start to cry and your Mom got so mad at us cuz we could wake the baby (Paula) that she made me go home?  HA!  I've told that story a few times!  I'm very sorry I could not make it today.  I so enjoyed viewing the photos.  I hope we can connect sometime.  -Patti (Berg) Martin.

Lynne, Some of my best childhood memories were over at your house.  I'd come home with you after school, your Mom would always be cooking dinner.  And it always smelled sooooo good! I remember your Dad coming home from work and I remember when he showed me the mint growing behind the garage.  First time I ever saw mint! Paula, I was so sad to hear that your mom passed.  We greatly enjoyed having her as our "neighbor" above our office and seeing her around the highrise.  She will be greatly missed here at Holland Highrise.
