Harvey R Strzok

Age 91 of Bloomington, formerly of Minneapolis, Clearwater FL & Mesa AZ. Died February 8, 2014.

Preceded in death by his wife Natalie; parents, Mary (Polnaszek) & Peter Strzok; sister Ida Carlson; and dear friend & companion M. Jeanne Casanova.

Survived by his daughters, Sara (Michael McAneney) & Susan (Daniel F. Maddox); grandchildren, Sean & Sophia McAneney; and loving nieces & nephews.

After graduating from Edison High School in Minneapolis & serving in the US Army in WWII as a medic in the Pacific, Harvey worked for American Sterilizer Company for many years as a Regional Manager. His work selling hospital equipment & helping create operating rooms & hospital spaces lives on in care centers throughout the upper Midwest & Florida. Our family wishes to thank the kind & compassionate staff at Presbyterian Homes in Bloomington for their years of loving care, and Optage Hospice for supporting Harvey through his last months.

Funeral Mass: 11 AM, Tuesday, Feb 11 at St. Joan of Arc Church, 4537 3rd Ave S, Minneapolis. Visitation 1 hour prior. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, MN. Memorials preferred to Catholic Relief Services.
