Helen was the youngest of three children. Graduate of Spring Lake Park H.S. An employee for over 30 years at Northwestern Bell Telephone Company. She married Michael in 1978 in Anoka, MN. They were blessed with two children: Ryan and Kellie while residing in Vadnais Heights. Finally settling their family in Blaine, MN.
She loved gardening, puzzles, country western music, drinking coffee with cream, and flower arranging. Helen adored her children and grandchildren every day of her life. She lived her life as a faithful servant of the Lord and an active member of King of Glory Lutheran Church, Shakopee, MN. Her thoughtful kindness, hugs, canned pickles, and the memories from holiday parties will be forever remembered.
She was preceded in death by husband, Michael; father, Clarence; and mother, Alice.
She will be missed deeply by her children, Ryan and Kellie (Dan); grandchildren Ari and Eva; siblings, Ida and Peggy; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family extends our sincere thanks to King of Glory Lutheran Church, Ebenezer Nursing Teams, and Grace Hospice for their dedicated care for Helen.
The family welcomes those who wish to attend her service at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at Sunset Kapala Glodek Funeral Home, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd NE Minneapolis with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm. Burial will be following the service at 3:00 pm.
