Passed away peacefully on March 12, 2018, at North Memorial Hospital. Irene is survived by her Son, David (Pam) Bouchard; Daughter, Kathy (Dennis) Brite; Grandson, Andy (Lindsey) Bouchard; Sister, Donna (Donald) Kelly; Brother, Richard Anderson; Many Nieces and Nephews. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Wesley Bouchard; Mother and Father, Edna and Arthur Anderson; Mother in Law, Dorothy Bouchard; Sisters, Jane (Peter) Madson, Arla (Joe) Ward and Marietta (Cash) Spencer. Services handled by Sunset Memorial Park, Minneapolis. Irene was born and grew up in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota and graduated from Sleepy Eye Public High School in 1945. She moved to Minneapolis to study at a Business/Secretarial School and completed her education ready to join the workforce. Irene worked for several years at Kraft Foods in Minneapolis and was a highly valued member of the staff. She met Wesley Bouchard and married in 1947. They were blessed with two children, David and Kathy. Irene was an extraordinary mother, constantly supportive and always nurturing and challenging. Irene had many skills and interests that were widely admired by all that knew her. Among these, she was an exceptional seamstress, doing clothing for many members of her family and even creating highly detailed costumes for the Zuhrah Shriners. She enjoyed reading, knitting, doing large puzzles, created beautiful needlepoint, and spent many years raising and caring for Boston Terrier dogs.
