To the family of Jimmy my deepest condolences and prayers are sent. When I first was intruduced to Jimmy and his bar, it was then I knew I had found my place away from home. He then decided to call me Dakota and that stuck to me every time he would see me. It wasnt long till I met some of the family members and they were just as nice. God has another angel may God take care of him and bless the family . Laurie Welsh(Dakota)

Dear Family, peace and respect to all of you with dear condolences. Thanks for the MN Twins memories and dear Jimmy shouting out across the bar that if we had set our beers down we would have caught that foul ball on TV! RIP Jimmy. Peace to dear friends too. Diamond Dave

I've drifted away from Jimmy's, but those early days when I lived around the corner were special, and because of Jimmy's kindness, it felt like home. He'll be missed greatly. I'm sorry for your family's loss, JJ. RIP Jimmy.

I know the polka music is playing loudly in heaven and Jimmy and my dad Harold are having a beer. My dad and Herb started making horseradish on the bowling machine at Jimmy's years and years ago and Jimmy never forgave them. It was always a longstanding joke. Jimmy was such a great man and he will be missed by many, many people. God bless.

Legend has it that my father played softball with Jimmy. He passed away very young and my family and I have always held on to those memories and his love for Jimmy’s Bar. I had my first drink at Jimmy’s, which has been followed by many years of memory making at the Northeast watering hole, including recently stopping after my wedding ceremony for a toast! My sincere condolences to the entire family. The neighborhood lost a great and he will be missed.
With sympathy,
