Jill Donna Walton

Born into this world on October 5, 1956, Jill shared her journey with us for nearly seventy years before her passing on June 5, 2026.

We honor the time she spent among us, reflecting with warmth on the many seasons of her life. From her earliest days in the mid-fifties to her final sunset in the spring of 2026, Jill’s presence was a gift to those who knew her.

Though she has departed, the story of her life remains, a narrative spanning decades of experiences and memories. We hold her in our hearts with deep respect, finding peace in the legacy of the years she lived and the time we were privileged to share with her.

Jill is survived by her beloved daughter, Jennifer Watson, and her five siblings: Mark Watson, Cynthia Hunter, Jack Watson, Wayne Watson, and Karen Prest. She has peacefully gone to rest, joining her mother and father, Bill and Lorraine Watson, in heaven.

A Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home & Sunset Cemetery, 2250 St Anthony Boulevard NE, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55418, on June 21, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at the same location on June 21, 2026, beginning at 2:00 pm.
